Can I just ask people what they’re using to author their home-made DVDs?
I have all my VCR tapes out of storage and I’m transferring the irreplaceable stuff onto DVD, with mixed success.
I started with Power Producer Gold, which I think I prefer using. You seem to able to compress more onto a single disk. I had to reinstall though, and my install disc is scratched to buggery so goodbye that.
Nero has the same or just as good functionality but as soon as I go to burn anything, it says something about the compilation being unstable and quits halfway through rendering.
Ulead DVD maker (or whatever it’s called) says it’s rendering the files but gets to 2% then doesn’t progress and my system, while not top of the line, isn’t exactly ancient either.
Can anyone give me any feedback on good products for doing this?
