I have a Kodak 620 box camera sitting on my office shelf as a reminder of a time when camera’s didn’t need batteries. I never used it, I wouldn’t know how (I acquired it thru family). It is a good reminder that the digital age is still relatively new and that photography pre-dates a lot of technology!
I bet that kid was confused when you said it doesn’t have/need batteries!

I should mention, seeing as how I’m still getting comments on this post, that I went through Shoebuy.com, which seems to have a great range and still ships overseas. I got my pair of Skechers, and another pair, and love them both. Best. Shoes. Ever! And the dollar is absolutely rocking against the USD, so I got 2 pairs for the price I would have paid for one pair here in Oz.

Very true! Sometimes sellers on Amazon won’t ship internationally is soo frustrating! I, myself have been an international buyer and have used another similar co called Shipito. I did use Bongo once but I they were a little too expensive for my taste. Found Shipito ships for much less, a bunch of people I know use them as well. Great blog! Thanks for sharing your thoughts :)

And I agree about evil spamtwits (and I share your shame/pain at having tweeted in the pathetic attempt to “win” a camera). Just be careful what you say about dinner,lest these Shining-type accounts start turning up – @pasta_lover @lamb_lover from some UK food waste campaign, but so creepy when you see their accounts you’d never know.
